We want to share with you why our cold brew coffees are awesome and unique from the rest, and...
Our favorite brewing method(s):
In this short blog post we want to tell you our favorite way(s) to brew coffee at home, and how simple it can be! One thing we will tell you is that each of these methods REQUIRE Peak Roasters Coffee Co. coffee beans in order to produce the best cup of coffee possible. If you choose to experiment with pre-ground coffee that comes in large plastic containers, or others, you will not experience the full potential!
#1: Pour Over
The pour over method is a very simple brewing method consisting of a pour over dripper, a filter, and a container or mug for the coffee to drip in to. This method is very similar to the automatic drip pot that you will see in most homes, however, it is all manually brewed!
We like this method so much because of its ability to produce a very nice, flavorful cup, and its simple ability to adapt to anyone’s desired strength of their cup. Check out our Recommended Pour Over Recipe in our “Brewing Methods and Tips” blog post.
#2: Cold Brew Coffee
Cold Brew Coffee is a great hot weather beverage for anytime of the day! The great thing about cold brew coffee is that you can easily make a week’s worth and it will be available at anytime. It does not have to be made for just one serving. Cold brew coffee is NOT brewed in cold water or in the refrigerator as many may believe, it is brewed at room temperature.
We like this method so much because of the excellent flavors it provides, and the smooth nature of the cup that leaves a great after taste. Also, because it the lengthy brewing time, its packed with caffeine! Check out our Recommended Cold Brew Recipe in our “Brewing Methods and Tips” blog post! Cold coffee is better than you think when brewed correctly!
